Service Description

For just 10 CAD/hour in a group of up to 6 students Designed for learners who have successfully completed Beginner Level 1 or possess an equivalent foundation in French, this comprehensive, structured program is tailored for adults who are ready to expand their language skills. The curriculum builds on previously acquired knowledge and focuses on developing greater accuracy, confidence, and independence in everyday communication. The course includes: Pronunciation and Listening Development: Continued practice of French pronunciation, rhythm, intonation, and common phonetic patterns to improve listening comprehension, pronunciation accuracy, and speaking confidence. Grammar Development: Reinforcement and expansion of essential grammatical structures, including regular and irregular verbs in the present, passé composé, imparfait, and near future (futur proche); direct and indirect object pronouns; reflexive verbs; comparative and superlative forms; common prepositions; question formation; negation; and the use of coordinating and subordinating conjunctions to create more complex sentences. Expanded Practical Vocabulary: Development of vocabulary and expressions related to work, travel, shopping, health, housing, leisure activities, daily routines, and social interactions. Interactive Communication Practice: Practical speaking exercises designed to improve fluency, increase accuracy, and build confidence in a variety of everyday social and professional situations. This second-level beginner program provides a structured learning environment with progressive, steady pacing, enabling participants to communicate with greater confidence, accuracy, and independence in French.
