Our Language Institute

Schmitt and Birnbaum Language Institute Canada is a Montréal-based organization with a simple objective: to provide practical French-language training to adults who need to use French confidently in their studies and professional lives, or to meet language requirements for academic immigration purposes.

The Institute initially focused on individual and small-group instruction for international students. Over time, its services expanded to organizations seeking to improve their employees’ French-language proficiency in the workplace and meet government language requirements.

As the Institute grew, it developed training programs adapted to different proficiency levels and professional needs. These programs include preparation for government language assessments, as well as targeted instruction in oral communication, comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, and writing.

Today, Schmitt and Birnbaum Language Institute Canada provides specialized French-language training through structured, practical instruction, customized courses, and assessment-based programs for organizations and individual learners.
