Service Description

For just 10 CAD/hour in a group of up to 6 students Designed for learners who have successfully completed Beginner Level 2 or possess an equivalent foundation in French, this comprehensive, structured program is tailored for adults who are ready to transition from basic communication to greater fluency and accuracy. The curriculum expands learners' command of French by introducing more complex grammatical structures, enriching vocabulary, and developing the confidence to communicate effectively in a wider range of everyday, academic, and professional situations. The course includes: Pronunciation and Oral Communication: Continued refinement of French pronunciation, rhythm, intonation, and listening comprehension through guided speaking activities, discussions, and authentic listening exercises. Intermediate Grammar Development: Consolidation and expansion of essential grammatical structures, including the imparfait and passé composé in contrast; the simple future (futur simple); the conditional present (conditionnel présent); object pronouns (y and en); relative pronouns (qui, que, où, dont); demonstrative and possessive pronouns; comparative and superlative forms; and the use of coordinating and subordinating conjunctions to produce more sophisticated and cohesive sentences. Expanded Vocabulary: Development of practical vocabulary and expressions related to work, education, travel, current events, health, technology, culture, and everyday social interactions, with an emphasis on expressing opinions, preferences, experiences, and future plans. Interactive Communication Practice: Guided conversations, role-playing activities, problem-solving tasks, and group discussions designed to improve fluency, accuracy, and spontaneity in a variety of personal, academic, and professional contexts. This first-level intermediate program provides a structured learning environment with progressive, steady pacing, enabling participants to communicate with greater fluency, confidence, and grammatical accuracy in French.
